Written by SHE Software Ltd | 06/12/19

SHE Software’s CEO has been recognised for his outstanding contribution to the UK’s technology environment, having made the shortlist of what’s described as ‘the Oscars of the technology industry’.

Matthew Elson has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 9th annual Enterprise Awards, which celebrate some of the most successful technology entrepreneurs in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Winners will be announced at an awards dinner to be held on Tuesday 25th June 2019.

News of the announcement follows another successful year for SHE Software, which saw the US team double in size, the launch of Insights+, powered by a leading BI technology provider (named a Visionary in the 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence), and the hire of a number of key new executives including Joshua Yulish, President and CRO, and Joe Harmon, Vice President Product.

Matthew said he was delighted by the announcement:

“I’m thrilled to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award. Although the awards recognise individuals, this recognition is testimony to the enormous hard work and commitment shown by our entire team.

“I’m pleased that, once more, SHE Software is in the spotlight because of our continued commitment to investing in user-experience, configurability and innovation to bring dynamic solutions to the health and safety market.

“We are building a fantastic global team who are empowered to utilise their skills, knowledge and passion to their fullest. It is firmly etched in our DNA that our customers’ success is our success.”

Matthew acquired SHE Software in 2011 and took the helm as CEO in 2014, having previously held high-profile roles for big names such as McKinsey & Company and Atkins Management Consulting.

He has successfully turned around the business, transforming it into a global brand. Today the company serves over 200 customers globally, and has operations in Glasgow, Manchester, New Zealand and Chicago.
